number of commercial To Let/For Sale boards. We maintain an extensive
data base of evidence and market transactions and an active mailing
list of applicants and with aggressive marketing and liaison with
other professionals involved in a transaction, we provide close
client contact and support.
Valuations
We undertake valuations of all types of residential and commercial
properties for sale, acquisition, rating, probate, IHT and CGT,
matrimonial, bank and mortgage, accounts, and insurance reinstatement
and investment purposes.
Building Surveys
As members of the RICS we provide all types of surveys including
structural, building and condition surveys, Homebuyer Reports, party
wall and boundary dispute, specification and building maintenance
programmes, dilapidation schedules and building defect reports.
We can provide Expert Witness Reports for all types of dispute.
Rent Review / Lease Renewal
We provide both landlord and tenant clients with advice on rent
reviews and lease renewals and other Landlord and Tenant Act work
including negotiations and liaising closely with clients’
legal advisers throughout a case.
Planning and Development
Through recent expansion we have become involved in many development
land, property conversion and brownfield site disposals, advising
a cross section of clients including public bodies, charities, Executors,
companies and private individuals. With increased emphasis on achieving
high density schemes following recent Government legislation and

Management
From both offices the firm handles the letting and management
of residential and commercial property portfolio’s including
all associated professional work with hands-on chartered surveyors’
involvement, pulling in skills from other departments for building
maintenance related issues.

With the increasing burden of non-domestic rates it is important
for ratepayers to ensure they are not paying more than necessary.
We can advise in relation to the level of rateable values and handle
the Appeal process and negotiations with the Valuation Office right
through to settlement and refund.
