BRACKETTS was established in 1828 by a Henry Sawyer from the firm’s current premises at 27/29 High Street, Tunbridge Wells and in 1886 William Brackett bought the house agency business.

The Brackett family’s involvement continued through three generations up until the 1970’s.

In 1970 Bracketts amalgamated with Dilnott Stokes, another firm of chartered surveyors in the town, and further expansion took place in 1974 with the amalgamation of Brooks & Son in Tonbridge.
